What on earth are Facebook offers? And does anyone use them?
When they were first rolled out in 2012, it seemed everyone was diving in to try them. Since, I barely see them. Or maybe I’m just not following the pages the coupons are targeting.
Never heard of them. Well, here is a brief answer that shed a little more light on what Facebook’s Offers feature is:
If you have at least 50 people liking your Page, you can create an offer from the ads create tool to promote an offer or service.
So how do you do it. Here’s a quick guide:
Step 1: Go to the ads create tool, then click See More and click Offer Claims.
Step 2: After you select your Page from the dropdown, then click the `plus’ symbol to create a new offer.
Step 3: Enter your clickable headline. This could be “Buy a t-shirt and get a free stubbie holder”. You can also upload an image to go with it. Click next.
Step 4: You need to choose an expiration date for your offer. There’s also an opportunity to play around with some advanced features – we won’t go into that here.
Step 5: Take a look at the preview. If you’re happy, you can add targeting for your offer and then Post Offer.
Facebook where their audience are happy to shop and buy.
Have you used Facebook offers? What sort of success have you had?
