Kellie O’Brien spent 16 years in print journalism in Tasmania, writing everything from hard news stories through to international celebrity features.

Her passion for writing and storytelling has been her biggest asset in Kellie O’Brien Media, assisting businesses with social media strategies, digital marketing campaigns and launches that increase reach, revenue and reputation.

From being featured in mainstream media, to gaining space on top blogs, collaborating with key online influencers and having blog posts spread throughout social media, she is living proof of the benefits of digital marketing.

During her career she’s led newspaper campaigns, been a magazine editor, chief of staff, chief copy sub editor and photographer. She also had a regular guest spot on commercial radio and hosted and spoke at numerous live events.

Since its inception, her personal blog has grown at a rapid rate. This is thanks to numerous marketing initiatives, strong branding and a keen interest in social media. Likewise, Kellie O’Brien Media has a stable of local clients, national brands and international entrepreneurs who have gained national media coverage, such as the Today Show and Sunrise, increased clients every month of a six-month social media campaign and created automated sales through a digital marketing pathway. Kellie is regularly featured in national media herself.

She also wrote the biography of one of Tasmania’s leading business couples and visionaries, which was released in bookstores in 2015.

Kellie’s warm approach, caring nature and “go get ‘em” attitude attracts entrepreneurs through to corporate clients.
