After writing about how to make your Facebook timeline cover and profile photos one image, I thought it might be good to provide some cover inspiration to get you thinking about what might work for your page. The space is prime for telling the story of your business, product or yourself, so make sure to use it well.
Here are some business pages that may help inspire you.
Fanta’s cover draws the eye – and your curiosity – by using a 3D image. Very clever!
Yoplait doesn’t just show its product, it shows how to use it.
Sony makes you really look hard at its image to work out how many characters and people you know of. In turn, you’re likely to remember it!
If you’ve got something to celebrate, why not tell everyone.
I’ve always loved covers that incorporate the profile into the cover (hence my post on the topic), but I also love that this cover shows you when to use their product.
Highlighting your fans is a great way to make them feel special and build your community engagement and trust.
Sorry, couldn’t go past a bit of Keith. This is a great one for showing what you can do if your business or blog is featured in the media. Although, I think it’s probably a bigger deal that Keith has featured GQ Australia, than the other way around!
Dunder was a YouTube sensation. This method of highlighting the profile picture and incorporating it into the cover is used a lot on personal pages and personal profiles, but not much on business pages. I think it’s quite effective.
This epitomises the Pepsi brand. It’s fun and the collage effect means you stay to look at each image a little longer.
Sometimes it’s as simple as a beautiful image.
This is a great way to not only highlight fans or clients, but a recommendation of how good your product is. The other way to do this is to include a client testimonial.
Remember, your timeline cover doesn’t have to be forever. You can change it regularly to give people a reason to want to keep viewing your Facebook landing page.

Hehe! Glad you liked the Keith one, Carly! 😉
I wonder how long some of these businesses spend on coming up with ideas and then creating them. Ah, to have that sort of time to play on Facebook! 🙂
